Product Screw Heat Exchangers

WUTRA Screw Heat Exchangers are ideal for combining transportation and temperature control tasks. Temperature-controlled screw conveyors can continuously cool, heat, or dry powdery, pasty, and liquid bulk materials. They have an excellent surface-to-volume ratio and offer large heat exchange surfaces despite their small footprint.

Depending on the level of performance required, both the trough and the screw shaft including the screw vanes can be heated or cooled separately.

Water, steam, thermal oil, gas or electric heaters can be used for heat transfer.
